Life is full of ups and downs. In the animal rescue world there are many people that support you and others that don’t. Some that do not understand what you do nor do they care. They do not walk in your shoes. See situations through your eyes nor try. You struggle to find “real people” in your life, those that truly care. There are people that are there to be heroes, want to seek attention, have a need to be “right” others have jealousy issues, others want to be the boss. It’s so hard to find people that have no other motives.

In a world full of people that “LOOK OUT FOR ME” culture it’s a sad state of affairs. People feel alone in the world which trickles down to the animals. When the world turns to LOOK AFTER NUMBER #1 there is no focus on anyone else including our animals.

Thankfully there are hidden Gems 💎 and shining stars that make the world a bit brighter. Those that work hard to help with no glory accepted. They help because they care and see a furry face that needs help and step in to foster, adopt, donate and lend a hand.
